after countless RAINBOW ups with numerous competitions it seems the walls of the company verses company have crumbled away and what we are starting to see is some very very excellent kitesurfing videos from riders across several brands getting together and showing what it is they can do.
do you think these 2 things are related? is there a direct correlation between the decay in competitions and the more cross company promos being produced by professional riders?

Excellent question. But what I want to know is why relative unknown riders, beginners, and the general kiting public are making videos with heavy branding all over them?
Consumerism has peaked!

I do, but uTube keeps banning my videos because of my choice of soundtracks (God knows how flamenco songs from the past are still copyrighted today!).

When I was a kid,
the word 'branding' never came up in conversation ....
Kids who lived on cattle stations on the other hand ....
Also, just a small wee correction.
It should have read...
"the only thing saving kitesurfing are the riders"
Well if you are going to go all grammar nazi, Kozzie is actually correct.
The only THING (singular) saving kitesurfing IS the riders.
If it was THINGS (plural) then it would be ARE.
Kozzie is actually correct.
take that back you fluttering sugar button
Kozzie is actually correct.
take that back you fluttering sugar button
Sure, you are not grammatically correct either.
It really should be:
Riders are the only thing saving kitesurfing.
I have no idea what you are talking about, please provide references/ better explanation of first sentence.
