Is there any more info on this recent news post?
is it a fact or a consideration?
there's mention of registration thru the SA kite assoc, could this be extended to all AKSA / associated bodies so that interstaters (a) don't get fined (b) have an ease of rocking up and going kiting?
knowing the 'seen to be doing something', 'do gooder' nature of your average pleb councillor, I'm worried if word of this spreads nationally - should we be concerned? imagine no access to a beach except in the Great Australian Bight and off some remote Tassie island.

The article sensationalises the situation somewhat. The AKSA tag is the permit for the spot mentioned in the article and at Henley. No problems for interstate crew.
