I am off to Fiji for a few weeks with a bunch of non surfing mates.. we will be spending one week at hideaway one week at uprising and one week at funky fish.. I am already taking a twin tip and a kite surfboard and i was wondering if it was worthwhile taking my surfboard as well.. I know there is waves at the hideaway..and Wilkes is pretty close to funky fish.. but i just don't know if its going to be worth lugging a 6'6" all around Fiji for what may be only a few surfs..
has anyone been surfing in these spots? how consistent are they? what are the crowds like?and is accessibility easy enough for me only?
Thanks

try wannasurf. that might have some good info.
but you only need one or two good surfs to make the lugging worthwhile.
or maybe dont take your take a smaller surfboard and use it for both surfing and kiting...

up to you.
