It was a ripper... Some big sets at horrocks , am getting better at the omg turn to toeside back in.

Made it out quite a few times and rode some dragons, can't say I slayed them, but exciting to ride them.

What did you do Austin, you warrior?!

Had a good one this week - out just before a front came through... good huck-fest. Then the rain HAMMERED down but I was so stoked I just smiled. Free kite-wash too, it needed it. Then went back out for some sweet Dialer riding (sweet as in, I liked the conditions - I can't ride a directional for crap) then the wind filled in and it was another huck-fest

Please sir, can I have some more?

yea ,yea, yea,got 3 brand new crispy kites ,have kited for 3 hours in the last 5 weeks and the strongest wind in the last 8 days has been 6 knots,

I would off jumped on a plane and gone somewhere else where there is wind but I lost my wallet with my ATM cards and credit card and had to send my passport away to get a new visa because it was nearly expired, still waiting on the cards

the forecast says there is wind in 2 days

Looking on the plus side,at least I have not dropped my kites in the waves, put them in the trees or crashed them on the beach,

Had my kites for 5 weeks and there in perfect condition, gotta be a record for me

The forecast better be right

This is torture

0.17m going by the GPA website. The reef platforms out from point separation looked more like waterfalls.

mmmh some decent wind for the first time in weeks.

Powered 8m session in washing machine conditions.

Punted off this wave lip for a jump way to early as the kite was still climbing to the zenith. I still got not bad height but man did I crank down wind fast. The kite ended up way behind me so I through a sweet heli loop to land super fast and super smooth then downlooped out to toeside carve. Man it felt good.

Well my hail is not super sized like the stuff you can get in aus. Its usually no bigger than rain drops. But It does hurt the face and you have to shield your eyes.

I never thought about it damaging the kite. I guess its possible.

when its hailing its usually a 35+ squall so power in the kite is not an issue.
