Im heading over to NZ to try some snow kiting. Just wondering if any one has helpful info to share
. Cant seem to find anyone that covers snow kiting in their insurance. We have a pretty good idea of where to go and what equipment to bring but any info would be appreciated.

Where in NZ are you heading? Around what dates? What sort of info are you after? Do you have any snowboarding experience?

Contact Shane at Kitesurf Nelson www.kitesurf-nelson.co.nz/

He is a good dude, and spends quite a bit of time on the snow.

Im not sure if foreigners are covered by our ACC, that is what we have to cover our accident related healthcare for us NZers, its part of our taxes, but windering if visitors might also get cover.

Go to www.acc.co.nz/

Have fun!

Only one I could find was,

http://www.worldnomads.com/files/DocPDF/20130201/WN_PDS_NZD_FINAL_EFFECTIVE_14FEB2013.pdf

(snow kiting* "* You must be with a professional, qualified and licensed guide or operator."

May be worth speaking with a local in NZ as Chris_M suggested as to who foreigners got their insurance with or whether they bothered.

or

have a look on the IKA website:

Hope this helps.
