Anybody got any good plans or sketches of rails or sliders or kickers.

I'm not ready to ride them myself, but I've got some time on my hands and no wind this week.
I'd like to contribute to my local watering hole and I think this could fill in the days.

If you have built one. Seen one. Got a photo of something you have seen......
....POST UP WHAT YOU GOT!!

If you can get your hand on pipe, it's awesome and easy to work with.

This is pretty fun but as big as it looks i recon its way too short. I hide it in the bush but even still its really heavy and defenetly need a few people to cary it down to the water. The bad thing about hiding in the bush is its good but it only lasted so long before somebody pulled one of the legs off it.
Pvc pipe is defenetly a better option.

A mate made a kicker rail today. Super simple easy set up. Just about a 2 or 3m length of that thick black pipe with the blue stripe with holes cut out on the bottom of each end. Then just sit it on some posts and jam the posts in the sand. Made one end low and one high do it was like a kicker. It was so fun. Simple and easy too. He made 3 of em so we had them set up all over the place.
Lol dont know how youll go filling your time with that it only takes about 10 minutes to make.

Awesome. This has got to be the future of kiting. What was Rowdy referring to it as - Park style?

Think about how skating has progressed in the last 15 years. I saw a clip recently of someone pulling a 360 flip to late flip body varial on flat land. Wtf. Another clip of someone switch tre flip down a 10 stair. The level of riding has progressed immensely and this is a sport which has been around a lot longer than kiting.

Kiting has a long way to go! Just think about what the kids will be pulling out in 10 years with 'park style'...!!

You only need to look at the progression of Cable over the last 15-20 years to see how Kiteboarding will evolve and how to get other boardsports and the public interested. People think big jumps are the only way that's going to happen, but in my honest opinion I actually feel as though a format consisting of just that isn't even that entertaining or marketable on a global scale. In the end you need something people can relate to and it's highly likely that the only people (who aren't kiteboarders already) who would consider tuning in to watch a competition will be boardsport enthusiasts... Thus you need to market and promote it on a level these people can understand and respect.

This may seem obvious to some, but others think I sound like an idiot. The truth is no one in a global postion as of yet has understood this and evolved as such (if anything they do the opposite).
