hey guys and the ladies just a quick questions about slider sizes and were to begin!!

now i can see that longer slider would be funner to hit up but i was wondering should i be using a smaller slider to begin with so i can at least hit it and come off with some power or longer to have the time of my life???

What style slider are you looking at making? The norm is that longer is better but some short sliders can be good fun and easy to transport.

transport is my main concern as i dont want to piss of parks and wildlife by leaving my **** on or in the and dunes as style just a the cheapest way prolly with pvc pipe

long slider is the go.. dont worry bout building one too tall..make sure ur up ramp if ur having one is stupid mellow.. biggest mistake is making things too steep.. once you put it in the water and hit it is is always steeper. 30 degrees should be the max angle. maybe make a long incline.

I aggree with NumNuts, dont make the lead up to steep as you end up with more of a kicker and if its not a really large slider you will probably just land on the end.
Polly pipe sliders are probably the cheapest easyest and lightest and fastest to make.

I suppose since you want to be able to transport it you could put it in either place... Stupid question

Look on the Scoop heaps of slider designs there

Longer is better more fun to hit and build it in sections so its easily transportable that’s what ive done. Like NumNutz said hell mellow ramp or make it low enough to ollie onto it begin with

Well is it for kiting or wakeboarding?
If its for kiting you pretty much wanna make the up ramp a wallride in steepness, many people have tried to make a "mellow" slider kiting and it just doesn't work, even if you try it will magically be mega steep so just plan for it to begin with.
