Have been feeling a bit sick lately, headache, mild fever, aches and pains in the joints and a sore throat ![]()
went to the clinic to see the doctor thinking I had the flu
she took one look at me and put me on a drip for the next 3 hours ![]()
3 hours later and 3 bottles of hydration fluid,no more headache, fever or aches and pains but still had bit of a sore throat
Just a friendly reminder to drink plenty of water and dont stay out for hours and hours kiting
The wind and sun and waves can really take it out of you ![]()
Come in drop the kite, sit under a tree and drink water and have a rest from time to time ![]()
you can drink all the water you want when you get home...
why waste good wind sitting around lazing on the beach?![]()
As Homer Simpson once said.
"water, water everywhere, let's all have a drink" while stranded in a life raft in the ocean
you can drink all the water you want when you get home...
why waste good wind sitting around lazing on the beach?![]()
Agree If you live on the east coast of Oz and the wind is blowing you need to kite especially if its 7m weather ![]()
but if you hang somewhere where its 7m weather pretty much 24/7 in season you need to know when to have a rest
Can kite at 5.00 in the morning or 10.00 at night on a full moon
Just be sure you know where the fishermen have layed their nets ![]()
Did you read that pamphlet about lady boys on ur last trip?
Ur symptoms might not have anything to do with kiting ;-)
Dehydrated enough for the doctor to put you straight on a drip, and three bags at that! Surely not having a piss for two days was a clue?
but glad to hear that's all it was.
yeah man. dehydration sneaks up on you. I'm guilty of not drinking enough. I think it sneaks up more on the water because your generally wet and you don't notice as much as if you were dry and parched on land.
camel back idea is good if you don't want to stop. and or tank up before you start.
