planing a trip to bluff this june,driving up from perth..
is it good to kite there?(if there is wind)
is june good for swell?

Red Bluff isnt a good place to kite...most of the break zone is sheltered by very large steep hills so you dont really get wind in there with the "general" predominant winds you will find.
This also means even when there is strong S or SW'er the lineup will still be full of surfers.
Although getting very popular & even advertised on postcards last night (almost fell out of my chair!!) the bluff has been a special spot for WA surfers for a very very long time.
So you are definitely not going to get a warm reception out there if you try kite when its on...It is a really nice spot but you are best to go there just to surf, fish etc....not kite. There are plenty of great kiting spots in WA (more than good surfing spots), best leave this one for the surfers.
About the swell....June is in Winter....enough said.

Factor 5 is "on it". It's a surf break and showing up with a kite would invite a certain grueling death by surfer/s.
It's off shore there and totally sheltered from the wind in most sea breeze directions.
It's a sensational spot to surf and holds some size although doesn't really get as big as Tombies.
It's also the edge of the Marine sanctuary zone so you are allowed to spearfish to your hearts content south of the Bluff. You can wet a line North of the bluff but not spear (don't get me started on this minor injustice! 
)
Lots of good fishing around there but very sharky so diving and spearing with a buddy is a good idea unless you have big plums and enjoy trouble! 
Whenever I line fish in this area, all I ever pull up is fish heads 
You can of course always kite Gnaraloo or Gnaraloo Bay as it's only 45 minutes from Red Bluff.
