A friend is getting a new 12 ozone light, he weighs 70 kg and rides a surfboard. I had a 10 light in winds from 18-25 and found it great and I weigh 86 kg. I was thinking the 10 would suit him better as in weight / ratio? For me though I think the 10 might be too small on the lighter days; I really want a 10m in my cupboard rather than a 12. Does anyone have any feedback on the 10 vs 12m ozones for my scenario?

on a surfboard and at that weight go the 10, or maybe the 8m.

He already has an 8M and thats why I am recommending a 12M, otherwise too much overlap and he wants to get out in light conditions.
The 12M Light XC behaves like a smaller kite, and will give very good bottom end for a 70kg rider, and good overlap with an 8M Light XC too.

Hello guys,
I used both kites and like them very much.
Of course the 12m has more power but is a bit slower!
Both kite are exceptional and in my opinion one of the best kite ever for wave riding!
If he has already an 8m for sure go for a 12m or as Steve said the overlap will be quite big.
MergaTroy, nothing against Slingshot but if you check prices you will see the the Ozone is 25% cheaper then the REV II, you can see that at Kitepower web site..
