For purely a kiting holiday I hear cocos islands is hard to beat. Also new caladonia is good at that time of year

Mauritius over Cocos purely for accommodation and food.

Cocos = 1/2 star accommodation and very very expensive plain food.

Mauritius = 4-5 star with breakfast + dinner included for a cheaper price.

Im looking at the same brianw7843.
My long service is waaay over due.I have 2 months oweing and am after good winds somewhere warm over winter.

I will be living and traveling on no savings, just the long service payments(about $600 a week) which has also gotta cover $200 a week back home.

So am after a really cheap get away, cheap food, beer ect,am use to ruffing it,living with the villages and what not.I dont see the point in paying $1000 a night to stay somewhere flash when all I use it for is somewhere to pass out after a big session(kiteing or running a muck)

I have spent 2 years in total living in villages all round islands of indo surfing, but now want to do the same for a couple of months kiteing with good wind, any ideas

Sorry brianw, hope Im not taking over your topic
