I think you have to pay for it. Just like the sailing. Annoying but there you go.
Haven't seen any BMX racing yet, that must be pay per view too. Last olympics almost every other heat was carnage, it was awesome!
There is an app you can download from 7 onto your favorite device. Some video is available for free straight off. If you are a Telstra customer, you should get ALL of the video for free, once they identify you.
I quite liked watching the windsurfing video. Looking forward to when kiting is also there.
Try going to your local beach bay or lake on a windy day take a picnic and a little kids kite to fly on the sky you should be able to watch windsurfing there however if you get really desperate try google or YouTube
Kite boarding in the Olympics. What a fkn joke.
An Olympic medal isn't what it used to be, unless your a track/field athlete or swimming.
If you want your sport governed by the Olympic federation, then good luck to ya. But kite surfing is still evolving every day with technology and styles (discipline) of kiting. I just want to kite with my mates and have a good time. And I know Olympic kiting wouldn't change that, but I don't want the direction of
kite surfing/boarding influenced by an Organization that tries to be the pinnacle of sport. Then they stick you in a box and say" here are the rules".
Tennis, Golf, Soccer, Basketball. The Olympics isn't the pinnacle of these sports. Wimbledon, US Masters, World cup (football), NBA finals.
Now they want to introduce skateboarding, joke.
I have three sports I love, Kiting, MTB riding and Surfing. Cross country MTBing is already in the Olympics and that sees some miss guided government funding to support a handful of riders. When there is way more Kiwi and Aussie riders doing really well in Downhill riding.
But I don't want any more of my sports to have to join the Olympic dark side to get recognition and funding from government or coverage in news media.
The Olympics is great if you want a gold medal.
But let the back yard foil board builders push the sport, Not a massive sports federation.
Boom (that's the sound of me dropping the mic).
