hi just considering getting a north dice it seems to be an allrounder type kite but wondering how it compares to the 2014 naish park in a 12m mainly free ride bit of waves etc cheers
Iv foot both a 12 dice and a 8 park 2014, the dice is pretty sick but it's a bit slow and north bars are ****. I rarely get to use the 8 park but when I do it's sick so zippy but that's due to it being a smaller kite. Both great kites

2014 North bar is pretty nice.
I've tried a 9 dice and I've got a 6 park. Both nice kites naish are really durable and long lasting. From my experience I would go with the dice, but their both great kites.
Just be for the cheaper one. 
If you have narrowed it down to these two (there are plenty of other good ones) if you are on a SB and want an all rounder that's excellent in the surf in my opinion the dice. If you want more boost potential in meduim winds then I'd go the park, especially if you are a TT rider that only kind of goes in the surf. Depends on what part of the all round spectrum you sit. Both great kites.
I wouldn't go as far to say the north bar is sh1t, that's somewhat off a stretch, but it seems simplicity versus functionality wasn't high on the agenda when the design committee sat down. Also the high Y and the associated long mini fifth can annoy some.
Riding the dice on both a low Y and the north bar I've found the smaller dice kites can easily be over sheeted on the low Y (you get less bar throw before you stall it out) and the canopy is slightly less gust proof as the C arc has been opened up a tad...which is more pronounced in the smaller dice sizes. The 12m rocks on a low Y but if it's gusty like lately the high Y comes out. I also have a five line north high Y which gives a totally different feel again. It all depends on conditions and what ya after!! Try both and see.
