Dont worry slack, all the racers will be there training hard during the race event just to be in top shape for the L2L 
ON top of this the racing crowd will have just done another 5 day world cup regatta in Melbourne the week before and the week before that another 5 day regatta called the world titles, **** they will all be in top shape 
With that prize money available for the new event it is sure to attract some top racers from around the world and will no doubt also enter the L2L
Will make it very competitive to win this year

They didn't reach the limit in san fran, far from it.
Hard to imagine they will in OZ especially just before xmas and the fact they have just had time off for the worlds!
While there are some full time guys that get paid to kite and others in the industry, the large majority still have families, jobs and bills to pay
But it could go the other way if a lot of people have been dreaming of getting to Australia and this event with good prize money and the WA location might just help them make their mind up to come
Any new guys interested in Kite racing should get into it now! Everyone is at early stages and it would be cool to come through as a group into this developing sport. Also we want perth racers to dominate the Perth event! There may even be incentives for young future champions to get involved. Lots of work is being down in the background to make all this happen. Join In - start racing!

saw some posts encouraging people to get into raceing, are there twin tip divisions or does everyone have n enourmous raceboard. i cant bring myself to ever buy a huge raceboard as it cuts my mobility off and i dont live anywhere for to long.
