Hey guys, was wondering if any one can help. Im keen to get into the sport have been for ages. Live near Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie and was wondering if anyone can give me a contact for a good place to buy all the gear and get the lessons i need to start out?
Also was wondering if the kites used for surfing can be used for buggying? If not why?
Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks.

Hey Jono. Can't help regarding where to get lessons in your area but noticed that nobody had replied to your post and just wanted to encourage you in getting into kiting. I would defo try and get a few lessons if you can. Watch as many instructional dvd's as you can, particularly the progression series. Youtube can be helpful if you don't want to buy some. Don't rush out and buy gear. Most people that have a lesson or two end up quitting and get left with gear that wasn't cheap. Try and get the advice of a kiter you can trust when it comes to the time that you do buy gear, ignore half of what the store owner says, he'll probably just flog you gear he can't sell. Be aware that if you do get into kiting it will likely become an obsession, not great for married guys with young kids!

I hope your boss is flexable with your hours :P once you've been bitten any bit of wind you will find your self at the water!
