yeah haters, I know this should be in gear reviews, but no-one reads them.
buy naish apex pads, them things are like sex on a board.
that's all I'm gonna say.

oh, and u wanna actually hear a bit about them, eppo started a thread ages back in gear reviews

I heard they are awesome how much are they selling for?

the only price I can give you today is $240 at kite addiction Myaree
but I'm getting another price tomorrow

do they have the locked in feel?

By a mile the best strap pad combo I have ever used....

Lots of comfy padding underfoot and a wide strap which covers most of your foot this really helps with the locked in feel...the straps also have an elastic component so they hug your foot with even pressure as opposed to cutting off circulation like a very tight strap.

Tried the NTT a few years back? This looks heavier...Plastic around inserts will make some damages on the board. North identified this as a problem and added some foam all around. Naish did not, sorry.

They look great tho.

PS

Different feel when loading, looks like more pop as well. But I still think anatomically NTT is better. Just look how straps are asymmetrically built for example. Water releases faster coz of channels, less velcro to catch some s..t on the river atm :(

I demoed a 132 naish monarch at point walter at 5am this morning, well, naturally I have a new naish monarch with naish apex pads on it now, yeah I did give up on price searching, but I got a good deal for board with pads etc.

I got the 134, best board/strap combo I have ever owned, took a little bit of dialling in with the wide tips, but love it now

have a set i want to get rid of $200 +postage ....ridden once for about half an hour .
