Well done to team Hampton.
Yes 2nd that looks like it was worth the long trip.
Want to see the video.
1st & 2nd don't forget the old man taking out the grand masters
I reckon it's good to see that Mark is giving his son every opportunity he can plus he gets to have fun as well ![]()
Yes great event again. Grads to James win for junior on the new Smook grommet 4 '8" Storm signature AND Aron winning new mention board
Another wickedly good Merimbula Classic thanks to MSC. I was stoked and honoured to win the women's. Congrats to all the competitors!![]()
Please excuse my ignorance but why the red thumbs for the Carew tribe?
Seems like they did well and enjoyed themselves, wish I could've dodged work and been there too!
Congrats to mark hampton. He showed us the WA spirit and shredded too.
Also first timer Jed Ferguson .Solid performance from an old fish.
Watch out for Kenta/Slash turned 13 during the event but sups like a 16 year old
And last but not least Aron Kenny. First time un strapped in the waves and now he has got the surf bug.
I watch him trying to get out on a sup at pambula on the biggest day. He paddled, paddled got washed up and paddled for an hour just to get out.
Pure pig headedness to succeed,Watch this 12 year old soar.
We had a great time as always thanks to every one.

Some photos that I took of the weekend. Still can't believe how busy Short Point got.
My first time.
Unbelievable vibe, first class peeps and crew...
Kiting in total onshore with 30 + other kiters... ha not my scene. Never will be.
Ben Wilson, who is the most recognised kite surfer on this planet was not the only "kitemare" on that day.
Maybe a wake up call...
Time to change some aspects..
Don't care if these comments get me off side, I will be going back earlier with more crew without the crowds.
Beautiful place..
nice steve???
and thats what kiting is like in other places then where we live tony!
sunny coast is like that any windy day of the week, we are lucky!!!![]()
