witnessed around 8 to 10 people teaching mates, brothers, partners etc over the Christmas break, sure its great seeing and helping to get them going, however ive not seen any possessing decent kite skills, for their good take the board away from them until they've got total control of the kite, giving someone with crap kite skill a board only makes the learning process more difficult , frustrating , and dangerouse, its not such a big deal here on a near deserted beach, but will only cause problems and anti noob hate at your local

seen the same here. Tis the season as they say. I hate seeing people get hurt due to bad advice and negligence. Sometimes it is just "penny wise and pound foolish" when it comes to getting proper lessons that could help them progress quickly and safely.. However, sometimes that isn't available and people are keen, I know I was as there was no one around to give proper advice. But seeing it now through the other side I can see easily what I missed trying to teach myself. Good advice is good advice. If you can get it for free, great. I am all for that. I just hate seeing people get hurt.
Happy new year!

good to see all but one on the correct kite to wind sizes , imo kiteskills are paramount and youll progress a lot quicker if your skilled, also in busy spots navigating around someone body draggind with good kite skills is no different than anyone else riding
