my god that is windy. epic speeds - you'd need massive balls of titanium to do that stuff

i did a few 'speed' runs at sandy point in about 20 knots once, reached a Vmax of 37 knots i think? and it felt insanely fast - i can only imagine what it is like to do 60 knots..... crazy

Insane vid.. watched it 3 times in a row and I'm going back for more.

I can imagine a whole new conversation when rigging up..

'Strong today'
'Is it blowin 6 car tyres?'
'No, then get out there you pussy...'

BTW Namibia is such an awesome country, been round it twice, but never with kite gear. Seriously the most beautiful country, it made me want to take up oil painting or something just to try to capture some of the natural beauty (coz I sure couldn't do it with a camera). I proposed to my wife up on a rocky hill watching the sun set over the desert in a little town called Solitaire.
