Thanks for the help, guys.
I'm gonna wait for my nugget to arrive, after that I might think about a lightwind kite.
Yes, the vxr v2 sounds pretty awesome. As far as I understand, it looks like as if the vxr has a better upwind performance than the lithium. Has anybody tried those two kites in big sizes?
No only the 14m lithium, but one is a higher aspect race orientated kite and one is a meduim aspect all rounder.
There is not a shadow of doubt which one will give you a more attenable low end.
Question you need to ask yourself after you get the nugget is what you define as light wind and how you want to ride in those winds.
Then you can narrow down the options.
Well, I guess the zero will give me the best low end, but not a big wind range. And its a no strut, so I guess its not ideal for heavier rider. And it sounds that its hard to ride upwind as well.
What I wanna do when there is light wind?
Well, I guess, most important is to get out and be on the water. If its super light, I have to use the nugget and cruiser around, if not I can use the twin. So maybe a bit of boost would be great. And its important for me to get upwind. And catching some small waves.
So is the vxr v2 the go?
Thanks everyone for your help.
I'm just waiting to get the nugget and see how I go in lighter winds.
After that I might think about the bigger kites.
As far as I heard is the lithium the go for me. So maybe a lithium in 14 or 16m?
Or the vxr v2.
Damn, it get u guys a carton of beer if you let me try those kites in tasmania (-:
Bloody wind. 50knots today. Haven't even had a chance to try the nugget )-:
There was just one day where I set up the 12m varial, wind dropped and I couldn't even hold the kite up.
That's what made me think about getting a 14m lithium, or a vxr v2.
So, can anybody compare a 2014 lithium 14m and a vxr v2 in 15 or 17/18m?
