Morning all,
Changing boards and the i have a choice between two. Im looking at getting more wake oriented and can't decide which would be better. The main issue is I believe one will be to big.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Airush livewire team 140
Best procreator 135

Currently riding a North select 138, weighing 81kg.

Thanks in advance,
Cheers,
Gaz.

I had a look last year at the live wire team. It said it couldn't handle boots on the airush website. Not sure if this is true or they are just covering there backs. 140 is a good size tho.
Did it have to be the team version or could you go the standard livewire?
I have a livewire proto in my shed and it's got awesome pop but it's much slower then my other boards.

Procreator from what I've head is very light. Alot of the best riders use it for comps. I personally think the profanity has a better outline then the procreator. It's heavy but definitely worth a look.

This isn't even a question in my opinion. Livewire is far greater than Procreator, Procreator is a terrible wafer thin noodle.

Are they your only options?

p.s. I wouldn't recommend Profanity either. Although it's marginally better than Procreator there's lots of other better boards out there (most brands). Profanity was actually a proto of one of Hadlows boards that he didn't like, after which the factory stole the mold and made it into a Best board, he was rightly angry about it I heard .

Don't worry about the size dude...I would choose the Livewire out of those two just because its bigger...you won't even feel it after a few sessions. I'm 82kg and ride a 141 board.

Livewire will def take boots but neither of these is really 'wake orientated'. For a proper wakestyle board look at Axis (Bootleg, Billy, Tranq) or a Tona Pop...haven't tried the Profanity but just because Hadlow didn't like it doesn't mean you won't. Try a few boards if you can and see what suits you.

I have been told a few times that I am a Livewire whilst Procreating... but dont think I can help your decision.

Remember that there are 2 livewires tho. Team, and the standard.

100% truth.

As the guy above said, try every board, maybe you like something about it that others don't.

If you're wondering what I personally don't like about Profanity is the inefficent channeling, heavy rocker and narrow tips (same as Hadlow), others may indeed like that though.

p.s. As for sizes, my stock board is a 141 (technically 142 tip to tip down the middle) but I often ride a 146cm, we just don't sell that yet as I think most people have a hard time understanding that even a 142 isn't actually a big board. I weigh 83-87kgs.
