Thumbs Up

I bought a new set of Cabrinha lines today and was fitting them when I noticed a rough bit in one of the new lines. It was like a bit of molten plastic had dropped on the line and was stuck between the fibers. Its not a neat join or anything - kind of rough looking. I got my G/F to drop the lines back to the shop on her way to work to get another set but the sales guy insisted this was normal and was where they joined the lines on the spool. WTF! I have had four sets of lines and never seen anything like it before. Anyone heard of joins in lines? I want to be informed before I go into the shop myself and have to debate the sales guy. I've snapped lines before and its not pretty so I'm kind of reluctant to go against my instinct and put these lines on my kite.

Gday,

Just take it back, should be a basic warranty claim.

If not demand a refund and buy from another shop,

Good luck
Matt
