plenty of people kite there. Pretty gusty on the beach until you are a little further south. Great place to start for a down winder to Shoalhaven heads.

7 mile beach, tick. There is a carpark half way along (3.5miles?) where they all get together. Tried twice failed twice. Gusty and a bit offshore. But if I fell in a barrel of boosems I'd come out sucking my thumb so probably just bad luck.

That is the Berry turn off, and much cleaner wind there then Gerroa. Side or cross off there and soon turns to cross on as you head south to Shoalhaven.

Werri beach just up the road at Gerringong is pretty awesome if you just want to kite on a beach in a NE. Often you'll have the entire beach to yourself or if only a couple of other friendly locals.

7 mile, as mentioned, you need to head down towards Shoalhaven heads otherwise it's direct cross and gusty.
