Stronger winds and waves in the south Caribbean - look at Barbados and the grenadines (union island). I am in the BVI back end of feb also, I have reliable advice that Anegada has good kiting experience - isolated downwinders with some good waves on NW tip. Better winds in summer than in feb.

Try to contact Sir Richard Branson, he may invite you to his Necker island....

I will be at Orient Bay in St. Martin in early Feb. If you are around drop me a line

The place does not get very crowded

hi thanks for the info, i had a read and looks awesome. we could head there after BVI which would be in may but am wondering about where to stay which isn't too expensive as on that website the cheapest for two in an upmarket hostel was $175, i haven't looked anywhere else yet. where are you staying.
cheers keryn
