Hey guys wind looks fun for next week in qld, was gunna head to the lagoon at DI for a few days after au day but its a southerly. Any spots that would be better to check or DI still worth a go?

Forget di in a south any thing . If is southerly with east in it . Go too infront of rainbow but be warned some of those waves there are nasty .
flat water would be nice for some days, only just started on a surfboard. Just heard that inskip is very tidal so maybe worth headin to hervey bay? But if theres some swell around DI will be nice and protected for surfing without a kite as well
mate if your up that way , head to pelican point at inskip, thats on the inside, gets a bit sketchy close in near the mangroves it works well on a sthly a couple hours either side of the low. Or if your up to it rainbow is fun north of the flags. Great downwind territory. We did a couple 2 weeks ago.
The real treasure up that way if your a surfer is DI , looks like it might get a small to medium swell starting Mon arv tuesday morn.
Thanks heaps tractorguy, heading there tuesday morn til sunday hopefully get some waves off the point and will give pelican point a go, looks like a decent area to launch near the ferry to fraser. maybe try lake cootharaba on the way up. Was hoping for a northerly to kite the lagoon at DI but all green for a week and not working - cant complain. Maybe even hervey bay few days looks sick for kiting round there

YE or come back around inside about half a klick , theres a small bay with a white sandy beach , you've gone past the turnoff if your at the ferry.
