Hey guys,

I m actually living in sydney, and i intend to do a kite trip somewhere abroad of australia. I don t know where could i go for the most steady wind (around 20knds) and nice place between noumea (new caledonia), figies, or even coco island ? i really need your advice if you know what is actually the best place for kite surfing or any others abroad of australia...

It depends on when you intend to travel as well. Someone put up a month by month kite guide here (I tried to find it) it tells you where to go for each month of the year. The next place I am looking to get to is Brazil, though that F-One video makes me want to go to Madagascar!

Of places I have been outside Australia I think the Greek Island of Naxos is awesome, though you are looking at consistent 25-35 kt seabreeze in the months of June - September. (Starts at 10am, stops at Sunset)

If you want an insane local flat water spot, try kitesurfari's and their trip up near cook town. For some odd reason the place has a microclimate that means it blows 24/7. We got so sick of the wind because we battled to sleep at night. It has some of the best flat water I've ever seen. On the down side, you have to wait for winter because its wet season now.
