Looking for some good kite travel bags. Something big that I can fit a couple of surfboards and 2/3 kites complete in.
Have had a bit of a look around and can't find much in the way of fitting surfboards only twin tips.

Any help appricated

COUPLE of surfboards?!? Guess you'll be happy paying for excess baggage charges then?

Windsurfing bags?

Yeah kitesurf board/paddle board. Planning on namotu figi next year, been at top of bucket list for a while so excess charges will be well worth it

The Dakine 195 cm bag is good and will fit 3 kite/surf boards or 2 boards and a couple of kites. Best if you can fit the boards into a "sports" /golf style gear bag as they will charge you extra for a surfboard bag even if it is just 5 kg.

The main problem with big bags is the airlines limit you to 32 kg max weight, which is less than the bag can carry. So you might be on a two bag strategy in any case. My advice is to look at the Dakine for the surfboards (if they fit) and a light weight suitcase for the kites / water gear.

I use a basic and light weight twintip travel bag for all my kite hardware (or just use a big bag) and keep surfboards separate from kite hardware in a traditional double surfboard cover. If going with missus you then can split the bags and she checks in half the gear

I've travelled with my Dakine Club Wagon and its big enough for my luggage and kite equipment. I don't think you would get a couple of surfboards in there though (190cm = 6'2"). If you aren't taking a twintip put a flat board/wood in the bottom to make it rollable. The bag has no structure so without a wood board its like dragging a body bag around and it would additionally protect your surfboards.
These are super durable bags, I've been to Egypt and brought here to Aus from Blackpool/UK via London underground without any issues. Apart from the funny looks and the escalators
