A 27 year old man was eletrocuted and received serious head unjuries after his kite surfer became entangled in powerlines on sunday afternoon.The man was preparing to enetrer the mater at the back beach before a strong gust of wind carried him across ocean drive and into the powerlines near Hastie street.He was briefly tangled before dropping to ground unconscious.An off duty policemen alerted emergency services to the scene.police and paramedics rushed to the man to Bunbury regional hospital before been medivac to Royal Perth hospital.He was kept on a ventilator in the intensive care unit, but is now in a stable condition and able to breath by himself.
The man was from France on holiday.

i'm from bunbury and i hope they don't bann kitesurfing there. i heard that he was using an old kite and wasn't aware of the saftey wasn't working properly![]()

How bad is this for kitesurfing ?? Just imagine all the people with no idea saying it should be band from our beaches???? Any idea what sort of level he was at ?? I mean did he have any idea what he was doing? or did he just grab a kite and have a go ????
