HI!!!I'm italian girl doing kiting.I'll come to Australia in august.Can any one suggest an island near the reef, other than lizard ,when i can kite and hire the equipment??
How long will you be in Australia for and what are you looking for while you're here? Mainly kiting or mainly Nightlife etc?

Australia is realy a big island, so just pick your spot around the edge and go for it.
I doubt there are any other islands that will meet your criteria anyway.
Chances are you will be hiring your gear (if at all possible) in one place and kiting in another.
Do you require east or west coast?
Why the attraction to the reef, work, climate, diving etc?

My advice is to head to port douglas and get in contact with Brett from 'windswell' He knows more about islands, cays and secret kiting spots from cairns to port douglas. He can even organise a heli-kite tour for you or do a day charter from his boat out to a secluded island. Windswell can take care of your hire equipment needs also as he stocks most brands.
I've been kiting up that way for quite a while and to get crystal clear lagoon water you need to head 30 miles+ off shore to the outer reef.

I am living on my own private island here in Queensland surrounded by beuatiful reef, the isalnd has 2 nice sandy beaches
I have a modest home of 25 bedrooms and a butler a chef and 3 maids
It would be cool if you want to come and stay for a week or 2 to kite
Maybe you can bring some of your bisexual girlfriends.
When you arrive I can meet you on the gold coast and we can get to know each other here before we go up to my island.
I have small 1 bedroom apartment in Surfers which I use when I pick up friends from the airport. - Could you please send me a pic or 2 so I can recognise you when we meet.

North QLD is all sheltered by the reef, so no breaks.
North WA, not sure about the wind around Exmouth.
