Walk to beach (orewa nz), sooo many beaches to kite nearby thermal pools, surf tasman or pacific 40min drive apart, so many awesome places to checkout and ride, prefer to swap with family with young kids like mine... in a similar kind of place - near kiting spot, fun stuff to do...
