Hey guys
went for a bit of a 4wd mission Saturday to find a nice kite spot that's fairly close to Perth metro area. headed up just past 2 rocks and then hit a 4wd track off Wanneroo Rd at Wilbinga. this was a great bit of fun 4wding and lead me to the beach. unfortunately the coastline was a bit rocky and not too flash for setting up or riding....mission failed!
so does anyone know of any nice spots for a nice weekend away kiting, camping and 4wding?? I was thinking just north of Perth but open to suggestions

if you have the 4WD Wilbinga is a fisho spot normally with pretty steep beaches, the real plan this summer is wedge past the shacks, i have kited up there a number of times little or no other kiters there during summer
, there are a number of beaches before & after wedge maybe 15 + k's
of good kiting beaches that form up. its normally a overniter or an early start i will try & find a shot to look at, in fact it would be an ideal location to do an event of sorts. drive time total 2 hrs
try south of the spot, if you no elkamos ya there , but it has been ten years or so
great will give those spots a crack, are they suitable for camping for a couple of days?
