Looking for best location for 1st time in the surf on the southern end of the gold coast in a northerly. Reasonably confident on flat water and can jump, turn and recover.

South of elephant rock to kirra. Few banks to choose from,but abit dumpy at the mo
Keep and eye out for the couple of flags setup along the section too. When u go south of flat rock the wind angle will change more onshore in a northerly so find a spot that suits 
Went to kirra yesterday and was an excellent area to kite in the surf. The lower the tide the better it was. Bit lumpy at times.
Second Kirra, good spot for land boarding at low tide too. Waves have been a bit bigger as of late, so check the surf reports whilst your checking wind conditions.
