Hey lads, 1 of my mates has an 2010 fuel, it's all sweet except the valves on the leading edge are delimitating, dose any1 no where I could get a new bladder. Or should I look at getting some new valves stuck on. I want to spend minimal money as I don't really need it!
Cheers, kempy

^^^ and "dose" , "delimitating", "delamanat" and "clame"
plus then it is "1 of my mates kite" and then "I don't really need it" ......

all that is even harder to interpret

Id just replace the valve, the are extremely easy to do, especially if the valve is right next to the zipper. just make sure you have someone to help hold the bladder flat and smooth while you put new valve on to stop air channels forming. Also usually when one peels off, most of them will peel off soon so wouldnt hurt to get a couple of spares

Those fuels were renowned for delaminating valves & yeah buying five new valves would be pricey considering the age of the kite. Moti Levy who repairs kites on the coast would probably be able to make you up a whole new LE bladder. If you call or email him he should be able to give you a quote.

Call Moti or Aviv for a quote(07) 55 99 22 67 or 0422 956 592 or 04300 65 839

Did you try searching the net?
Heaps of places to buy them.
Much cheaper and better option then stuffing around with valves.
www.slingshotsports.com/slingshot-kite/slingshot-kite-parts

You can buy brand new fuels for $900 incl bar and lines out if the states if you do a bit if searching

Yeh man I found new 2012 fuels on kitepower for $600, but this fuel $50. I just wanted to give them ago, I use airush razors so I just wanted to feel the difference!

Seriously, line up a demo from a shop. Then go an buy a later model!
Getting them bladders back in the fuel is a bitch!

That would be the ideal option, but I live in the middle of nowhere, the nearest kite shop is 6 hours away.

I Would imagine you could call the shop, and arrange a Demo to be mailed out.
That's what most do!

Use your brain and search for a supplier and call them!
I haven't demoed rally's, but I'm sure if you want to buy shops will be happy to post out a kite, providing you pay for return post!

I've demoed quite a few kites which been sent from the north and the west!

Not many slingshot dealers left in oz, and those that are don't really carry stock. Zu?
Boardcrazy shut up shop, I believe now done by someone in Adelaide?
They bladders are the same from 2009 to current. I paid around $350 for a full set of bladders.
The bladders are easy to put in, if you struggle doing that then maybe question if you have the coordination to kite at all

G'day Kemp,
We currently stock and sell Slingshot gear, though i think you will have trouble finding a 2010 fuel bladder due to its age.
I think your best option is to replace the valves that need doing, or change them all at once (upto you and your budget).
However if you do decide to get a replacement bladder, give us a call and we will get in contact with the Slingshot importer, if theres a spare bladder in Aus, they will be the ones with it...
We also have valves we can ship if needed.
If you do decide to change the valves check out some youtube clips, pretty easy to do though definitely takes a few hours to do right.
Cheers,
SCK

Got the chance to use this old patched fuel. Loved every thing about it. I think im definitely a fuel kinda guy. They say 5th line c kites are the future but im not sure now. I think slingshot have definitely got the fuel down to a tee!

They say, don't believe everything you hear.... From 04 fuels were a well built and performance powered up kite! The only problem is trying too ride a new 2015 board or kite. Looks like they have freeride bases covered.. Awesome looking boards!
