hi
how do you stop foot strap bolts from loosening? I tighten them as much as i can and yet after one or two big sessions they are loose enough that i can move the whole pads a little.
i have a naish haze if that makes any difference

You can use loctite to help hold the threads.
According to The manufacturer www.loctite.com.au ;
If you have through, threaded holes (as Brokite boards use) i.e. the mount holes go completely through the board, you just clean both the male & female threads (use metho or proprietary loctite primer) then liberally apply loctite to both male & female threads, insert and tighten completely, then clean off any residual loctite.
If the mounting holes are blind threads (as in most boards) the recommended technique is slightly different.
As above, clean both the male & female threads (use metho or proprietary loctite primer). Then you carefully 2/3 fill the blind board thread with loctite then insert and tighten completely, then clean off any residual loctite.
The reason for the different technique is, if you only coat the male thread then insert, the air pressure within the blind thread blows much of the loctite up, out the hole leaving little to fill & seal the thread gaps.
