fixing a kite....

Hey me hardys

I have a cab switchblade and the bladder is losing pressure, the valve is good, when i stuck it under water the bubbles slowly come out of the leading edge, so where do I start to fix it, is the info on the net.

Awsome helpful advice there, inflate your bladder inside your kite mix a solution of friendly detergent and water 30 to 70 parts water roughly, rub over your leading edge and see where the bubbles appear, remember or mark where the bubbled came through, undo the end of leading edge , pull out bladder end and attatch a piece of string or one of your lines to it, then undo your strutts if its onepump and push through your leading edge valves , generally you have a zip or velcro sleeve near your inflate deflate valves, pullyour bladder through dragging string through as you go, your bladder valves have a tendancy to snag , when its out remember the spot and find the leak, clean with alcohol wipe dry, then fix with tear aid or similar, then reverse the process, pheww kitepower was wright just check the f******g internet

Sorry Suniboy21 but I have to disagree.
If its not totally blown out (doubtful even then) a simple fix is the WTG.
Without complications a single slow leak like the one described should cost you around $20 to have repaired. If its a leaking valve - the most common fault - add another $20 for a replacement valve.
Probably not a valve from what was described but; whatever; its rarely necessary to remove the whole bladder for a repair. Add few more bucks if it is.
