Does anyone know how to find non-current kite specs?
Is there any kind of lists out there, arranged by type (C, 5th, hybrid, bow, etc.), with a few details about bar and safety set up?

I am helping a friend buy a second hand kite, and have been caught out thinking a particular kite was what I was looking for but in fact it seems the specs must have changed massively from one year to the next (but still with the same model and brand name).
So rather than chase my tail, I want a quick source of info of old and new kites, I have checked out the manafacturer website and it only has current models.

Also I am on dial up and most kite manafacturers sites are not dial up friendly...

Any suggestions?

Try www.kite-surf.com

just select the make, then the year and model and there will be reiews and scores out of ten for safety, water relaunch, jumping etc. its a good websiite if you want to find out abou your kite or a kite you want to get.

Don't know about most brands but Airush has archives dating back to 2002.

We even stock bladders and other parts for most Airush kites back to 2002.

Check archives at the bottom of the home page www.airush.com

Contact Airborne Kitesurfing or any Airush dealer for any older or current bladders and parts.

If you are after info on a certain year we may even have a brochure we could post you, if the dial up is too much of a pain.
