Just want to know if anyone knows the length/depth of a seabreeze. If I kited and kited off shore how far out would I have to go before there is no wind.

Only asking as I've been chasing waves 1 hour south of Sydney and its been crap wind but pumping only 40min drive away, so thinking the seabreeze must vary massively in different parts of the coast even if it is only 1 hour drive away?

Around 30 nautical miles offshore . Some really good info here as well

epbcnotices.environment.gov.au/;document_id=29628;proposal_id=4279

It even refers to seabreezes in Canberra
Seabreezes over the last month from Gerroa to Jervis Bay have been cranking .

Have you ever noticed in summer that when a high is directly over your location there is barely 5 knts of sea breeze svn a max temp.
