ive got a bran new sensor bar and after only a couple of sessions noticed it was starting to Frey pretty badly just above the chicken loop ..wtf..So decided to put heat shrink on both lines that go through the bar up to the depower to see how it went.. Kited today in 15-20 knts and it worked realy well. Nice and smooth ..
You wouldn't be happy buying a new bar and it starting to Frey like that ??? I would be back onto them for warranty.. Don't know if you have seen but north have a new bar out with some click tech on it but there depower is covered in plastic (bullet proof) get a new bar under warranty and then set it up from scratch ??
Yeah not an option bought it second hand ..was the deal of the year IMO brand new 12m riot cross ride XR2, sensor bar, naish momentum TT and harness everything still had plastic and tags for $400

kite line wax also helps a bit, reduces some of the friction and stops your lines from fraying.
