Had a business idea to run a bus between two points on the coast to cater for kiters doing downwinders in the summer months.
for example: Scabs back to Leighton for example, the option to pay on arrival back at your car.
Also could organise kiting trips to non metro locations every month or so.
dont think anything like this exists, just an idea now but what does everyone think? would you use this?
Another idea would be to pool our funds together to hire a scary muscle laden ju-jitsu skilled UFC champion thug to patrol the busiest carpark where we all leave our cars.
Given that this individual would have an IQ somewhere around 20, we could negotiate a good rate, maybe less than $20 per hour.
What was the final call with the downwinders bus? Will it be running again this summer?

for us that is . I don't see how you can make much money out of it.
I think i'd prefer my car at scarboro ,so im in no rush to make it down for the bus.
what would you charge? probably no more than $10 if you want guys to be regulars
so, I guess if you had 15 guys per run you could turn a reasonable profit?

maybe $5 $10 $15
But yeah I'd be in.
(If wind sucks I'll leave my car at scarb. and taxi to city beach Costs $12 - $13 which I reckon is good enough value compared to a session trying to hold ground in sub15 knts )
I'm a TT rider though, so maybe all those surfboard dudes might be more enthusiastic,

Start with a big 'advertising" campaign get the word out there
and I like that idea of pumps on the bus (Big W $24)
what non metro locations, and how much? are you talking lancelin ?
get some shops/pimps involved , they can pay you to ride your bus and push thier stuff and bring demo boards/kites - they love a captive audience
