Thinking of going to Boracay in Mid April. Windfinder doesn't seem to have prevailing wind info for April for some reason?

Anybody out there have any first hand knowledge of Boracay in April? Particularly the west side of the Island. (Whites Beach)

Cheers.

The wind doesn't switch to the white sands side until the rainy season starts around June/July.

I have kited there in Jan on the east side and had a ball. Great spot. Kited in early May on the west side and had a ball. Not as flat...(u get wind chop) but there was still wind. Not as consistent in April/May but still a great spot to holiday.
If it is a pure kite holiday, then you are best to go somewhere else at that time of year.
IF you are taking a non kiting friend and you also dive etc then it is a great spot to go for a holiday. Cool bars, good food, very cheap.....$1 beers

If you go on holiday to only kite....u sometimes have a bad holiday. If you multi task, such as dive, surf, bushwalk etc etc....then you will always have a great holiday!

Thanks for the feedback. Three non kiters in tow. ie family so if I get one decent kite then im happy. Compared to Hong Kong (2 kites in three months) Ill take my chances.
