I went through this problem as well, feet would always slip out, I have been wearing heal straps for a while and am now just taking the plunge and getting a pair of synergy boots and LF concept grind as soon as i get some extra cash......
I always thought you had to be a sick rider to get boots, but was recently told that it can come down to preference. I took some for a demo (pair of synergies) and WOW, so comfy........ It did feel a little strange under my feet, but I really think I am going to like it...
Give boots a try for sure, see what you think.....
Also, a few questions
1. I heard that the synergies are big for there size, I am a size 10 - 11 US shoe, but have flat feet - should I get the M or the L?
2. Do bindings stretch over time, If the large fit well now, will they stretch and become loose after a while?
3. can you wear booties under the bindings in winter, is do the bindings keep your feet warm.
cheers
1. Yes they are big for their sizings. I suggest you try some on if you can to be sure.
2. Yes they can stretch but if you are looking at the Synergy's they are lace up anyway so shouldn't be an issue.
3. Err, there are things I could say but won't.
cheers Fozzy, you always jump to my rescue, You were the one who talked me into getting the concept and boots - I wrote you a few emails under the name oxigenn - ( I had to re register cause of an account problem)
thanks again for all your help, I should be getting into it next week
ps - whats wrong with booties? lol
Happy to help my man. Good decision by the way. ![]()
As to the booties, you know what I'm sayin without sayin it.
please for the love of god stop calling straps bindings. please stop.
and its sick people want to start trying bindings now its great to see that people are opening to the idea of trying something new. bindings u just ride differently, way better feel to them i thought.
dont get velcro crap it stops working after a couple months, sand ruins it.
Just thought I'd let the poster know - i took the plunge and got a pair of synergies and have not looked back - better in everyway, even the extra bit of hurt when you catch a rail is still better.
do it - you wont regret it
