Hey just after some advice,
I always end up with balooning ankles. I have ankle straps but on a big stack they just seem to hold the water in. I have 2 ripcul e-bom suits.
Thanks
Stab some holes in the wetsuit at the bottom/around ankle height, or cut the legs shorter so water doesn't blast up inside.
And get rid of the ankle straps....
Duff - why are the ankle cuffs holding the water in ?? the ankle straps are meant to stop the cuffs turning under which is what makes them seal.
Im hesitant to put holes in my good wetsuit(s) - and they drain slow anyway. Some wetties come with slots but I know the ebombs don't.
I made my own ankle straps from wide velcro from Spotlight and have found that you need to get just the right length of hook and loop material so that the bands can be done up but not too tight - and the hook bit can grip onto the wetsuit to stop it sliding. Just my 2cw - it works for me !!
Wear a springy. I had the same problem with my steamer while surfing.. It gave me the ****s so I cut the legs an inch shorter ... Problem solved

Im unsure why, i might have to look at the positioning of the straps. I did try tighten them but my feet stating getting pins and needles. I have the set of mystic straps.
Keep the straps and add a small hole an inch or so above where the straps sit. Use a fine tip soldering iron, from the inside...
