hello :),
I have been working in Sardinia, as kite instructor, from 2013.
in the last 2 year, I have been teaching to many Australian people. I was really surprised to see that many people from Australia were going so far from thair country for kitesurfing. Australia , in my mind (I have never been there till now ;) ), is the home of kitesurfing and surfing
Anyway, even Sardinia is a fantastic place for kitesurfing. And even is the North (Porto Pollo) is very famous, the best conditions are in the South of the Island. Here the best places for kitesurfng are:
-- Cagliari, the Capital of Sardinia, because its wind conditions, has been choosen by Luna Rossa as head quarter to prepare the next American's Cup.
-- kite Punta Trettu (kitepuntatrettu.com/) in the South west of the island.
if somebody would dome to Sardinia in the future, you can find an overview of some kite spot in the south of Sardinia here: www.kitegeneration.com/sardinia-kitesurfing-spots/
See you, maybe ;) , with somebdy of you the next year ;)

Hi Magda,
I will be going to Sicily for a two week holiday next year in July, do you know any good kiting spots there? I will probably only take a kite or two and look to hire a board there - if that's possible. I will be renting a car there.
Thanks
Sorry magda... we have no female kiters in australia. So when we see a female instructor in italy we pretend we cant kitesurf and get lessons with you. Surprised it took you this long to realise what the australians were doing. Keep up the good work
Hi to everybody and happy new year!! I apologize for the delay on reply! ;)In my opinion is not tue that there are not women-instructor in Australia :)In Sicily the most famous spot is Lo Stagnone. In Sardinia, depending on the period, you have more or less beach available for kitesurfing. There are spots with flat water and spots with waves .. it depends what are you looking for . Anyway I suggest you to have a car to move around and change spot when the wind is changing direction. Regardin the kite spots, you can find a lot of information here: Kiteboarding Sardinia (kiteboardingsardinia.com/)
KiteGeneration (www.kitegeneration.com/where-to-kitesurf-in-sardinia/)
Another good spot is Punta Trettu kitepuntatrettu.com/
Hope to see you in Sardinia this year :)
