Yes Zoon definitely rips! This I'm afraid is not one of those moments...

p.s. Interesting to note is how mainstream dubstep has gone, I remember only a few years ago people telling me it was a bad choice for video clips of mine...

p.p.s. Zoon did a sick fs7 after the event at Thailand I'm sure there was video of it to, I'm not sure where though.

Not sure if it can be classed as a mobe then????? I know in the PKRA website, it says that a move can only be classed as a mobe with the kite at 45 degrees or lower, any higher and it's classed as dangle pass(es). I may be wrong though as I'm no expert.

Not taking anything away from Youri though, he's on top form, riding well and on course for his first PKRA title. Yates still may have something to say about this though.

It's worth noting that if he does win this year, it will be the first time a rider has taken the title using a non - 'C Kite'. I know Slingshot have made no secret of the fact the RPM was the first non - C, to take a PKRA Podium finish.

The dude obviously rips, the stuff he's doing looks very technical and sh!t,
But a bit of a snooze fest to watch.
It's amazing how much wave riding keeps getting slammed for being monotonous.... Each to their own I guess.
The beauty of kiting is that we have choices!

p.s. No offence to Youri, he is obviously an elite sportsman and at the top of his game!

I stand half corrected, as Corniel only podium finished in the Cabarete round that year, Zoon has podium finished on the whole tour using the RPM. There has been a few times where a rider has finished in the top 3 of an individual round using a non-C, but only Zoon has done it overall on a whole tour.

Yea sorry mate, I was quoting Slingshot's website. They did not make it clear that the RPM was the first non - C kite to take an overall podium finish on a whole PKRA TOUR, not an individual round.

who cares all i saw was a bunch of pull ups. shifty 3s 5s 7s are all gay. so were those frontmobe 7s and the back mobe 9.

i've seen old mate kite in person and he throws down so much better in just a general free ride where he isn't going mega tech but he has way better style and way more power with the kite a good 15 degrees lower than it was in that video.

You know he's actually telling the truth... And it's exactly where you would think it would never be... Yep on that.

p.s. Well it was, I'm sure it's long gone by now.

maybe my eyes or my brain is getting too slow, and I don't have that little booklet that lists all the 724 moves by number and increment of rotation in any which way, but wasn't that just a double handle pass or something??
