Fark i feel half your pain poor reli.
Paulio needs help with his front rolls.
After a hard day sittin on the seabreeze graphs, waitin for the wind that was predicted several days ago to sweep through here today (but doesn't show). I like to spend hours on the seabreeze forums typing **** out like this and laughing at how crazy i must be. [}:)]

When you sacrifice kiting time yourself to teach your wife to kite so that the long term investment pays off with her hopefully becoming addicted also = lots more kiting time

When I lend a mate my kite to have a 'quick' session on, cuz his kite size is too small that day.
He holds ground for a while, does a few tricks, but then starts to head downwind a bit, then a bit more, a bit more still.
Then he's pretty far downwind, too far to walk back & I see im going to have to pick him up, so I hop in the car & drive. He's still kitin downwind.
1 hour & 6km downwind later, I get my kite back....lol Damn addicts

when you keep checkin this thread to see who needs help more than yourself (help as in see a shrink u kiting looney).

i reached another level of adictive-ness myself last week:

went to the socca ovals one night after a game, it was all under lights, so i got out my kite, mountain board, and tried to have a land session as the wind was offshore and it was nightime. the ppl having a few drinks after the game said i was fun to watch (yes i suck at it atm).

When your looking to buy a new car and the basis for the car is that it will hold all your kiting gear in the boot.

when the ammount of sand imbedded in the car is irrelevant - in fact is not even noticed,
..untill someone else gets into the very messy veichel
why is it thay boys can get away with sand negligence but us girls cant?

???

Why can't girls get away with sand negligence? I would be so happy if I met a girl with a car full of sand. Of course I'd just be happy to meet a girl at all...

When I think to myself "hey I`ve got a good handle on life, everything is going well, Maybe I should step my life up a level and try a handle pass."

I dropped the handle of life and have not seen it since.

Now I`m floating around this big ocean we call life with no handle on it at all........but...........I`ve never been so happy!

Even though the predicted winds are 8-13 knots, you still check the graphs on Seabreeze every hour just on the odd case it picks up to more than 15 knots ...

it never does though lol

C'mon Wind... Cheers

You plan to take ALL of you annual leave so it coincides with the years kiting competition calender.

For example:

1 week taken for Cairns IT’S EXTREME week
3 days taken for State Championships
4 days taken for Mambo
2 weeks taken for WA kiting trip (Nationals practise and warm up)at Christmas
1 week taken for Nationals

You go out to the club and your boyfriend and his mate start dancing, but their moves are actually kite moves, handlepasses, back rolls, unhooking etc..

.... and this is before they start drinking!!
