That's def not an 04 bar more like 06 07 in 04 and 05 the deposed was still above the bar
yep, later than 06 07- the lettering on the bar is different.
and what year did the css system come in? it had to be 08 or later?

2010 slingshot went to push release not pull like pictured
MY 2007 Fuels have that bar......... The Rev was a 4 line kite and therefore did not have the wave grenade pin ( red tab above chicken loop in pic ) the bar itself may have still been the same.
2006 octane. 2007 fuel. both have the same bar 5th line that flagged from a ''''' WAVE GRENADE"""""!!!. the earlier diesel/fuel was depowered above the bar and only a short rope. the ropes through the bar used to wear out and wreck the bar. 
I think my 2011 RPM came with that bar.
Unless it's not 2011 (that's what I have it advertised as)

that's not the wave grenade pin. it had a quick release design on the ring so you could twist it off. the one in the pic is secured by a lark's head knot & the ring has no centre release tab. also the lettering on the bar is not from 07

Right you are.... Different lettering and the wave grenade has the horizontal pin.

second that. my rev 2 had the exact same bar, with that ****ty quick release. the donkey dick was also annoying. good kite though. bit twitchy.
those bars were used on the 2007,08 fuels and on the 2009 rev. the fuels went to the new bar in 2009.
