hey mate don't know much about them, but the remote I have (which is similar) for my launch helmet cam is a waste of time - it emits a beep when you hit record, but when it's 20kts+ and you're wearing a helmet you can't hear sh!t. If you press it twice it turns it off. So I don't use it and just stick it on record the whole time. It looks like a similar size to the gopro

It should be pretty much the same. It's HD which means 1080 (horizontal lines). There are other variables such as lens etc, but the difference should be negligible.

Might want to run a spell check over your site

Sorry if my spelling has offended you, Ill have to look into it amongst million other things I got down as "to do"

The camera Is as mentioned 1080P which is a resolution standard, but doesnt say a lot about the actual picture quality, in terms of video its compare able to a go pro. If your after stills, the Go-pro is hard to beat with its 12Mpixel.
Bonus is , you get a built in display, its a lot easier to change the settings, you can delete recordings and pictures on the camera, the water proof housing has an extra attachment point on the back, so you can mount it better than a go-pro.
The camera itself is also quite nice to use with out the waterproof housing in case you are using it on a bike scateboard etc, it has a rubbery texture to the body, all the sockets are sealed so no sand gets into the camera
The manufacturer tells me it uses the same chip sets as the go-pro. If you want to try one out send me a message.

Like GoPro this looks like another cheaply produced generic camera put in a waterproof housing.
There are many entering the market.

Is the menu operational in the housing?
How long does the battery last?

The price isn't that special.

Basic remotes should have a single button for rec and a separate one for stop - and be able to press the button multiple times to only activate the chosen function. This type of remote has been used on dedicated POV cams for years.
