My winter wetsuit is on its last legs now and due for replacement. Where is the best spot to get a replacement (4/3 semi-dry) and any idea what costs I can expect?

On the upside, the sudden flurry of great whites chasing ewok blood will scare aware the beginners at St Kilda.

This is absolutly no help at all, but you sure are picking a bad time to buy a wettie. You can generally get 50% off in Dec/jan at most surf stores. The stores are all getting ready for winter now.
You are better off buying Quality when it comes to wetsuits. The good ones last years. I have had my ripcurl classic for at least 10 years, and its still going strong(bit tighter fit now).

I weigh less than most people did at birth, I'm a scrawny bastard so not much meat to keep the warmth in. I'll stick to a semi-dry...

True, but between waiting till next Jan and freezing until then through the ever enlarging hole that is appearing in my crotch and around my neck, I'll pay inflated pricing now and stay warm.

I'm happy to buy quality as well, cheap generally means skimping on quality somewhere.

Thanks. I'll head down and have a look.

BTW, I checked out radiator, the thickest they do is a 3/2.

Mordi Surf Centre in Mordialloc has a huge range of wetties and the steamers seem to be on sale at the moment.
