interesting... I wish we could have big fans like that on Sydney beaches for all these windless days ;)
Well Marty maybe you should try it ... I think you'd be very surprised.
I've never had any problems with relaunching a Flysurfer in waves ... last two times I flew LEI in waves not only could I not relaunch but both times the kites were ripped in half!
No worries Ian, would love to test it, where can I get my hands on one on the Goldy? maybe you can send one to the boys at Surf Fx and we can film it and post the findings on here!
As to "last two times I flew LEI in waves not only could I not relaunch but both times the kites were ripped in half!" I dont know what your doing wrong or what kites your were using but if that was the case for all of us kitesurfing would have to be one of the most expensive sports ever!!! lol
Marty give Jeff Roberts a call on 0418 880 509 and he should be able to arrange a test flight for you - else email ianyoung@iinet.net.au and I can put you in touch with other guys who fly Flysurfer on Goldie/ North NSW Coast who are happy to let you fly their kites if you know what you're doing (... which I'm sure you do ;-) and prepared to listen to some basic instruction on how to get the best out of a Flysurfer kite
