No, not that snowfields thing that used to be on Wide World of Sports once upon a time (does that still happen BTW?). Looks like some adrenaline to be had out on the water this weekend in Perth. Bring it on...

Last Friday and Saturday was perfect, Cant wait for this one.
.
.
Lets arrange something as a group.
We can start in one of the beaches and go to another beach and come back.
Last week I've done it between Leighton & Cottesloe
If the group is bigger maybe we can go to Mullaloo and back.
.
Any one interested?

This weekend is looking epic for a kite in perth. At 32knots + all weekend what size kite will people be riding?

Super keen to get out again in the winter squals, but with only a 9m rev at this stage and at 70Kgs its a wild ride at 28knots +.

Sat looked absolutely awesom at Cables. Stopped with the squids in the car and began regretting the decision to take to the maritime museum.

Anyone selling a cheap 6m/7m kite only?

Gotta do sumpin about that BO bro..

I noticed a dude on a 7m HP up on the beach (what little there is of it) really struggling. Not much room for error there before you are squished in the radiator of a passing truck!

Were you at the museum dropping off your old kites?

Strangely they weren't interested - even after I showed them the 9m and proudly exclaimed "You know the kite from 'Kitemare o' the week' - as seen on Seabreeze". A cheerless lot down that way.. probably all poledancers.

Be careful, I'm nearly 90kg and am usually on a 6 in these conditions, regardless if I'm on the TT or surfboard.

Any one else want to come? I'll see you all there.

Cheers

I'm planning on launching at Leighton tomorrow but around 8am, probably be knocking off at 11 as I have domestic chores to attend to followed by social commitments. I'll let you know how it was in passing.
